Lunar Eclipse November 8th 2022

Spectacular Lunar Eclipse of 2022 (Beaver Moon)  as a matter of fact this was the last one till 2025. The neat thing about this event was I did not need to go anywhere but my front porch for this one (bonus). Set up the camera to take shots of the stages that I put into this composite stacked photo. But some might wonder about the Lunar Eclipse and here is a breakdown for you.

During a lunar eclipse, the Moon turns red because the only sunlight reaching the moon goes right past through Earth’s atmosphere. The more debris or clouds (thankfully there were minimal) in the Earth’s atmosphere during the eclipse stages, the redder the Moon will be.

So our moon moved into the deep umbral shadow of the Earth and received only light filtered by the Earth’s atmosphere. And our beautiful moon turned a crimson red as it slowly set way off in the distance before disappearing behind the trees.
