Wheatley, Ontario July 6th, 2023

After the mornings chase was complete I headed over to Wheatley to intercept another cell that I saw was approaching. This cell had an immense updraft, it was gorgeous to look at, simply because it was a well structured storm that was compact and singular. It was not a big mess of a mash up of different cells converging into one, plus! it was nice to see it ahead of the rain instead of visa versa, in the opposite case the rain would impede the visuals and not make it photogenic at all. I rarely shoot in portrait mode but for this was the only way to get all of the cloud in one shot.
