All factors were present and all conditions met for a severe storm. Now to find that perfect spot to capture it. We started off in Bayfield, Ontario. Mammatus clouds were approaching, and we were able to capture that cell as it was moving in. But it wasn’t the ideal location we were hoping for. Radar pointed towards the Kincardine area, so we headed that way. Only thing, it was going to be a 44 minute drive. Were we going to make it? We finally settled on Point Clark, where we found a front row seat to this monster shelf.
